Checker Sedan to hire 150
Detroit, June 21, 2006 — Checker Sedan, a luxury service affiliate of Checker Cab, expects to fill 150 open full- and part-time positions in the next two weeks.
The division of Detroit's largest taxi company is hiring customer service representatives, driver management personnel, mechanics, dispatchers and supervisors.
Positions also are available for drivers, who will be hired as independent contractors. Some full-time positions include benefits with health insurance, Checker Sedan President Tim McCarthy said Tuesday.
