CITY Beverage-Chicago Posts Largest Sales Increase Of Area Budweiser Distributors - For The Second Year Running
January 26, 2007, Chicago, Illinois – To use sports page jargon, CITY Beverage - Chicago (CBC) has gone back to back. The Anheuser-Busch distributor, an affiliate of Detroit-based Soave Enterprises, has won the Metro Chicagoland Area Championship for the second year in a row.
Competing against five other Chicago area Budweiser distributors, CBC posted an overall 4.5% increase over the previous year’s sales and outperformed all of its peers. The increase also ranks CBC as tops against all other Illinois distributors.
“Our congratulations go to the entire CITY Beverage – Chicago team for their outstanding efforts,” said CBC General Manager Mike Flynn. “After competing neck-and-neck with another distributor throughout the course of the year, Sales Manager Tom Hincks led his department to victory in the final weeks of 2006. Their hard work has helped propel CBC to this peak performance.”
CBC also posted the highest sales increase for 2005, the year the company debuted. “Leading Chicago for the second year in a row truly solidifies our position as to what accomplishments can be achieved when the entire organization works as a team, including our partner Anheuser-Busch,” explained Flynn.
