Soave Automotive Group Names Marion Battaglia President of Soave Automotive Group

January 30, 2007 Kansas City – SOAVE AUTOMOTIVE GROUP, a division of Detroit-based SOAVE ENTERPRISES, has named Marion Battaglia as President. The announcement was made today by Anthony Soave, CEO, SOAVE ENTERPRISES.

In this position, Battaglia is responsible for the operations of current Soave dealerships in Kansas and Missouri: Independence Honda; Independence Lincoln-Mercury Mazda; Aristocrat Motors which represents Mercedes-Benz, Jaguar, Porsche, Saab and Land Rover vehicles; Mercedes-Benz of Kansas City; and the new Mercedes-Benz of Progress Point, in Weldon Spring, Missouri - a suburb of St. Louis.

Battaglia joins the SOAVE AUTOMOTIVE GROUP with more than 30 years of automotive retail experience that includes co-ownership and general management of two Kansas City dealerships – the BMW Gallery and Baron BMW-Volkswagen-Mini Cooper. Battaglia has served on the VW Regional Advisory Council and was elected to serve on the national BMW Dealer Forum.

He currently serves on the Board of Motor Car Dealers of Kansas City, and has participated in many local and national non-profit organizations including: the Boys and Girls Clubs; Mayor’s Christmas Tree Fund of Kansas City (MO); The Alzheimer’s Foundation; and The Susan B. Komen Breast Cancer Foundation. He and his family reside and are natives of Kansas City.
