As Vice President Sales and Marketing, Mr. Bakotich is responsible for all ferrous sales for Ferrous Processing & Trading Company, including sales for processing facilities in Michigan and Florida. He maintains relationships with both steel mill and foundry customers and coordinates shipments from FPT facilities and various suppliers. He and his team forecast, sell and coordinate the activities of various processing centers with operational personnel.
A 20-year veteran of the scrap business, Mr. Bakotich has experience in brokerage sales and yard operations. He began his career with Luria Brothers in Detroit as a broker, and after progressive positions within the industry most recently served as General Manager of K Scrap Resources in Windsor Ontario.
A Graduate of Michigan State University, Mr. Bakotich is currently the President of the Michigan Chapter of ISRI. He has been on the Michigan Chapter Board as an officer and a board member for the past six years. He also currently serves as the Michigan representative to the national board.
