Parts Galore
In January 2005, Soave Enterprises teamed with longtime auto parts professional Bill Wild to form Parts Galore, a self-service, used auto-parts retail outlet.
With an initial investment of $5 million, Parts Galore opened its first store in Detroit in the spring of 2005. Additional Parts Galore outlets are expected in the metro Detroit, Michigan area, with other outlets in Cleveland and Toledo, Ohio, to follow.
A unique auto parts operation, Parts Galore allows customers to remove and purchase parts from any of the 2,500 cars and trucks found on its 18 acre car yard. With a monthly turnover of more than 1,000 vehicles, customers are ensured a large selection of quality used parts from which to choose. Auto mechanics and do-it-yourself car repair enthusiasts are charged a nominal fee to enter the car yard. They then remove and pay for the specific parts they seek.
Once the vehicles have been stripped of all usable parts, they are sold to Ferrous Processing & Trading to be shredded and recycled.
