Mr. Smith is Strategic Operations Manager for the Soave Automotive Group, based out of Merriam, Kansas. Before joining Soave, Mr. Smith worked with many companies in the last thirty years including a Fortune 500 company holding many positions achieving several long lasting contributions. Smith was an internal consultant for AlliedSignal. He was Vice President of Organization Development at IntelliTec, Inc., Director of Training and Devolvement representing eighty operating companies for Encompass Services Corporation and served as Quality Director for Baron BMW prior to joining the Soave team in 2007.
In his current position, Smith is involved in developing core critical processes, overseeing manufacturer training, information security program, new hire training and development and partnering with senior management on strategic initiatives.
Smith has more than 25 years experience in manufacturing, quality, organization development, training and development, management consulting and program development experience with business, government, and not-for-profit organizations.
A graduate of Ottawa University, Mr. Smith holds a masters degree in human resources and is involved with the local chapters of ASTD and ISPI. Mr. Smith is also a pastor and a recent graduate of Kansas City Baptist Temple Shepherd School.
